Dream Hire Luxe – Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Dream Hire Luxe. By confirming a booking, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions, designed to ensure a seamless, safe, and luxurious experience for all clients.

1. Alcohol and Prohibited Substances

  • The possession or consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in all Dream Hire Luxe vehicles.
  • Violation of this policy may result in the immediate termination of service without refund.
  • Clients are responsible for any cleaning or repair costs resulting from spills, stains, or damage caused by prohibited items.

2. Food, Beverages, and Smoking

  • Consumption of food, gum, or takeaway items is not permitted inside any vehicle.
  • Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited inside or near vehicles.
  • Light refreshments for special occasions may be permitted only with prior written approval.

3. Damage and Cleaning Responsibilities

  • Clients are financially liable for any damage or excessive cleaning required due to their actions or those of their guests.
  • Standard cleaning and repair fees apply as follows:
    • Spilled beverages: $250
    • Bodily fluids or cosmetic stains: $700
    • Smoke-related odour removal: $450
  • Additional fees may apply for extensive damage, repairs, or loss of vehicle service time.

4. Behaviour and Conduct

  • Dream Hire Luxe reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if any passenger behaves in a manner deemed unsafe, aggressive, abusive, or intoxicated.
  • Services terminated for misconduct will not be refunded.

5. Delays Caused by Clients

  • If a service extends beyond the scheduled time due to client-related delays, additional time will be billed at $1.50 per minute per vehicle after a 15-minute complimentary grace period.

6. Airport Transfers and Waiting Time

  • Flight arrivals are monitored where possible to ensure timely service.
  • Complimentary waiting time applies as follows:
    • Domestic flights: 30 minutes
    • International flights: 45 minutes
  • Any additional waiting time will be billed at $1.50 per minute.

7. Punctuality and Scheduling

  • While Dream Hire Luxe strives for punctuality, external factors such as traffic, weather, or unforeseen events may occasionally cause minor delays.
  • Arrival within 10 minutes of the scheduled time is considered on time.
  • Significant delays may be compensated with extended service or partial credit at the company’s discretion.

8. Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% (or $350 for wedding bookings, whichever is greater) is required to confirm a reservation.
  • Additional deposits may be required for peak periods or premium events.

9. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by Dream Hire Luxe.

Weddings:

  • More than 12 months’ notice: Full refund of remaining balance (deposit non-refundable)
  • 6–12 months’ notice: 50% refund of remaining balance
  • Less than 6 months’ notice: No refund (full payment applies)

Private Transfers & Tours:

  • More than 30 days’ notice: Full refund minus deposit
  • 8–29 days’ notice: 70% refund of remaining balance
  • 7 days or less: No refund

Approved refunds are processed within seven (7) business days.


10. Payments

  • Full payment must be received at least seven (7) days prior to service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include EFT, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
  • Cash or cheque payments require prior written approval.

11. Additional Charges

  • Surcharges may apply for services provided on public holidays, during overnight hours (12:01 a.m. – 5:59 a.m.), or for extended chauffeur hours.
  • Card processing fees may apply to credit card payments.
  • Administrative fees may be charged for booking modifications.

12. Outstanding Balances

  • Charges for damages, cleaning, or additional waiting time may be automatically billed to the client’s account.
  • Unpaid balances may be referred to debt collection and will incur all recovery costs plus a 5.99% weekly late fee.

13. Passenger and Luggage Limits

  • Passenger numbers must not exceed the vehicle’s legal seating capacity.
  • Luggage must be safely stored and secured at all times.
  • Clients must advise Dream Hire Luxe in advance if transporting oversized or unusual items.

14. Media and Marketing Consent

  • Non-identifiable photos or short video clips taken during events may be used for promotional purposes.
  • Clients may opt out by contacting bookings@dreamhireluxe.com.au, and such content will be removed upon request.

15. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

  • Dream Hire Luxe is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or service changes caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to traffic, accidents, extreme weather, illness, or government restrictions.
  • If a vehicle becomes unavailable, a comparable or upgraded vehicle will be provided where possible at no extra cost.

16. Limitation of Liability

  • Dream Hire Luxe accepts no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to missed flights, events, or accommodation.
  • Liability is strictly limited to the total amount paid for the affected service, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

17. Assumption of Risk

  • Clients acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks, including injury or death.
  • By engaging Dream Hire Luxe services, clients voluntarily assume these risks and agree to release and indemnify Dream Hire Luxe, its chauffeurs, and representatives from any liability, except where prohibited by law.

18. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of New South Wales.
